ANTIMICROBIAL COMPOSITION WHICH COMPRISES EXTRACT OF GRAPE FRUIT SEED AND SODIUM BICARBONATE AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: Provided is an antimicrobial composition comprising grape fruit seed extract and sodium bicarbonate. The antimicrobial composition additionally comprises glycine. Also, provided is the preparation method thereof. CONSTITUTION: The antimicrobial composition comprises grape fruit seed extract and sodium bicarbonate or sodium carbonate as a pH adjuster in a weight ratio of 0.1-1.0%:0.1-1.0%. The antimicrobial composition further comprises glycine as pH buffer, wherein the weight ratio of sodium bicarbonate:glycine:grape fruit seed extract is 0.01-10:0.1-1:0.1-1. The antimicrobial composition is manufactured by the steps of: dissolving 0.01-10%(w/v) of sodium bicarbonate in purified water; and adding 0.1-1%(w/v) of glycine and 0.1-1.0%(w/v) of grape fruit seed extract to the dissolution, sequentially.
