PURPOSE: A method for managing and reproducing a multi-path data stream of a high-density optical disk is provided to record/manage navigation information for selectively reproducing a data stream of an optional path according to a parental level, thereby effectively managing/controlling a multi-path data stream. CONSTITUTION: Among plural playlists, more than two playlists associated with data streams of different reproduction paths are grouped into one playlist block for management. Among the more than two playlists grouped within the playlist block, entry type information for accessing one optional playlist representative of the playlist block is recorded/managed. Parental level information is recorded/managed in the more than two playlists grouped within the playlist block.
