The performance-relevant data is transferred from the lift or escalator installation (1) to a maintenance center (2). The performance-relevant data is linked with the operating parameters to obtain installation capacity utilization. The protocol including invoice related to the installation capacity utilization, is transmitted electronically and/or by postal transmission to the customer (3). An independent claim is also included for lift or escalator installation maintenance system.
