Beta-phosphorated alkoxyamines and their use in preparing alpha-omega functional polymers

Alkoxyamines (I) are new. Alkoxyamines of formula (I) are new: [Image] A : OH, OQ or Cl; Q : alkali metal (e.g. Li, Na or K), NH 4, tetrabutylammonium or tributylammonium; R : H or Me; M : chain of radically polymerizable vinyl monomers; and n : 0 or integer. An independent claim is also included for production of polymeric or non-polymeric mono-or polyalkoxyamines of formula (II) using alkoxyamines of formula (I), where A can additionally be -OR 1>. [Image] R, n : as defined above; R 1>1-6 straight or branched alkyl; x : 1 or more; Z : mono- or polyfunctional structure, such as CH 2=CHCH 2O-, CH 2=CHCH 2NH-, CH 3-(OCH 2CH 2) p-O-, -O-(CH 2) q-O- or the residue of an alcohol, polyol, amine, polyamine, epoxide, polyepoxide, ester, polyester, amide, polyamide, imine, polyimine, polycarbonate, polyurethane or silicone; p, q : 1 or more.
