PURPOSE: A mounting kit for a ceiling cassette type air conditioner is provided to install a body part of an indoor unit of the air conditioner at a precisely position and improve the workability for reducing the manpower and time required for the installation. CONSTITUTION: A mounting kit(66) for a ceiling cassette type air conditioner is in the "L" shape and includes a vertical part(88) and a horizontal part(90). The vertical part has an insertion groove at an upper end to be fitted and fixed to a lower end of a cabinet of the indoor unit(60). The horizontal part is extended from a lower end of the vertical part horizontally to be held by a ceiling surface(52) in contact.
