PURPOSE: A portable interpretation system and a control method therefor are provided to recognize a native language voice signal inputted from the outside and output previously stored foreign language voice data according to the recognized result. CONSTITUTION: A storing device(10) stores foreign language voice data corresponding to a native language voice signal and native language data corresponding to a foreign language voice signal by a uniform scenario net structure. A voice input device(20) converts a native language voice signal or a foreign language voice signal inputted through a microphone into a digital signal. A voice processing device(30) recognizes the digital native language voice signal or the digital foreign language voice signal converted in the voice input device, detects a scenario net number according to the recognized result, and reads corresponding foreign language or native language voice data stored in the storing device by the detected scenario net number. A voice output device(40) converts the foreign language voice data or the native language voice data read from the voice processing device into an analog voice signal, and outputs the converted analog voice signal through a speaker. |
