PURPOSE: An HMAC(Hierarchical Medium Access Control) method for point-to-multipoint communication is provided to enable communication between invisible stations through an HMAC concept, and to enable various masters to coexist in one single physical network. CONSTITUTION: A point-to-multipoint communication method is based on a hierarchy level. A relation between stations is defined as parent/child/sibling on a hierarchy, and communication only between the parent and the child is permitted. A kind of the stations is defined as master/slave/repeater, and inherent station IDs are assigned to each station to form a tree structure network. Since the repeater can be a parent of the slave, a repeater function can be supplied without distance restrictions between the master and the slave.
