摘要 PURPOSE: A color coating method of plastic ophthalmic lens is provided to obtain superior uniformity of thin film compared with color lens formed through a conventional dipping method, recycle the plastic lens by easily removing the thin film in case of defective coating film and prevent crack and deterioration of the coating film caused by temperature change and salt. CONSTITUTION: In a method for coating a multilayer thin film sequentially comprising dielectric thin film layers(30,30') formed on a plastic ophthalmic lens(10) having hard film(20) thereon using vacuum deposition method by irradiation of ion beam, electromagnetic shielding layer(40) and water repellent layer(50), the color coating method of the plastic ophthalmic lens comprises the processes of additionally forming a color thin film layer(30a) on the dielectric thin film layer(30) as feeding argon gas to deposit a light absorbing material for providing colors on an upper part of the dielectric thin film layer(30); forming the multilayer thin film comprising the dielectric thin film layers including the color thin film layer, the electromagnetic shielding layer and the water repellent layer in a chamber in which the chamber is kept at 150 to 180 deg.C when performing vacuum deposition by irradiation of ion beam to increase cracking resistance; and drawing out the multilayer thin film coated plastic ophthalmic lens to the outside after keeping the chamber at 80 deg.C or less if thin film deposition is completed.
