PURPOSE: Provided is a red tide inhibiting agent comprising yellow earth and biodegradable sophorolipid which has excellent inhibiting effect on red tide living organisms when being sprayed in small amount. CONSTITUTION: The red tide inhibiting agent is prepared by mixing 0.05 to 0.2 parts by weight of yellow earth with 0.00025 to 0.002 parts by weight of sophorolipid. To inhibit red tide, 0.5 to 3 grams of the red tide inhibiting agent is put in to 1 liter of sea water.
