PURPOSE: Solidified remains and method for solidifying the same are provided to solidify remains within a short period of time while preventing the remains solidity from being deformed. CONSTITUTION: A method for solidifying the remains includes the steps of sterilizing remains in the form of powder and mixing the sterilized remains under a vacuum environment by adding a curing agent to the remains and stirring the remains and the curing agent. Then, the mixture is molded into a predetermined shape. After that, the molded mixture is subject to a drying process and a protective layer is formed on an upper surface of the molded mixture. When sterilizing the remains, the remains are introduced into a sterilizer.
