PURPOSE: To provide a high voltage generator which is small in size and is decreased in radiation noise. CONSTITUTION: This corona discharger is formed by integrally arranging a high voltage generating section 5 having a piezoelectric transformer 23 and a corona discharger 7 driven by the high voltage generating section 5 on a base body 9. Since the high voltage generating section 5 is arranged on one base body 9 internally with the corona discharger 7, a packaging space can be made extremely small. Since the arrangement of both in extreme proximity is possible, the formation of a small loop area where high-frequency current flows is possible and, therefore, the radiation noises are decreased. |
