PURPOSE: A leg impact device for a test for pedestrian protection is provided to completely realize the bending characteristics of a human body and to make the femur part, the lower leg part and knee part foldable. CONSTITUTION: A leg impact device for a test for pedestrian protection comprises a foldable knee part(3) and femur part(1) and lower leg part(2) connected with the knee part. The femur part and the lower leg part form a cylindrical body composed of many round outer frame members(4) connected lengthwise. A foldable frame core having many strain gauges is inserted to the cylindrical body. An accelerometer for measuring the acceleration of the outer frame members is connected.
