PURPOSE: Provided is a composition comprising extract of Vitis genus plant for preventing and treating Alzheimer diseases caused by the decrease of acetylcholine, as well as increasing memory. CONSTITUTION: The pharmaceutical composition for prevention and treatment of Alzheimer diseases comprises the crude extract of Vitis genus plant, as an active ingredient, and pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, diluent or excipient. The crude extract is obtained by using water and C1-4 lower alcohol or their mixture as an extracting solvent.
