PURPOSE: A disposable diaper is provided to enhance a leakage control function of an excretion absorbed in an absorption core of a disposable diaper and to enhance an air permeability. CONSTITUTION: The disposable diaper comprises a liquid permeable top sheet(300) contacted to a skin of a user; an absorbent core(308) located in a central part of the top sheet in the longitudinal direction of the sheet and absorbing and maintaining an excretion; a liquid non-permeable protective sheet(304) for the absorbent core which surrounds a lateral side and a back side of the core; and a backside sheet(310) of a non-woven fabric or fibrous fabric which is located in a backside of the protective sheet and has an edge of which is connected to an edge of the top sheet.
