The femur component has rigidly connected condylar slide surfaces (20), a tibia component with a tibia plate (7) joined to it and possessing tibial slide surfaces cooperating with the condylar slide surfaces. A coupling (10) which forms a bending bearing (11) with the femur component, and forms a rotational bearing 12-14) with the tibia component has a sloping axis in relation to the shin-bone direction. The normal line on the part of the tibial slide surfaces cooperating with the condylar slide surface is less sloping in a side view or saggital section in relation to the shin-bone direction than the axis of the rotational bearing.
