The axial tilting element bearing (16,17) has a number of tilting elements (6) each supported by at least one hydraulically operated piston (7,10). The chambers (8,11) accommodating the pistons are fluidically interconnected. The piston chambers form a common pressure chamber which is connected to a line (9,12) carrying hydraulic medium. The piston chambers are formed as cylinder bores and are constructed in an annular form common base element (5). An independent claim is included for a gas turbine, and especially a stationary gas turbine, equipped with the proposed axial tilting element bearing.
