PURPOSE: An expansion device for an air conditioner is provided to prevent a short tube from being clogged by alien substances, and easily fix a short tube by fixing the short tube between first and second stoppers formed at an outer tube. CONSTITUTION: An outer tube(90) is connected with a refrigerant pipe, and has a passage(91) for passing a refrigerant. A short tube(92) is arranged inside the outer tube and has an expansion passage(93) for expanding the refrigerant passing through the short tube. A net(94) is connected with one end of the short tube to filter alien substances of the refrigerant, having a connecting part(95) having an insertion groove engaged with a first stopper(96). The first stopper and a second stopper(98) are protruded in the outer tube at a gap equal to length of the short tube for fixing the short tube. |
