LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY HAVING DIGITIZER FOR STABLY FIXING THE PCBS

PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display having a digitizer and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to prevent damage of PCBs and a TCP(Tape Carrier Package) by mounting a digitizer without raising the PCBs and a TCP, and by stably fixing the PCBs. CONSTITUTION: A support main contains a liquid crystal display panel displaying an image, and a backlight unit supplying uniform light to the liquid crystal display panel. A top case(20) is installed in association with an upper edge of the liquid crystal display panel. A plurality of PCB(Printed Circuit Board)s(45) are installed under the support main for driving the liquid crystal display panel. A fixing device(41) is formed between the PCBs and the support main to be formed in association with a surface where the plurality of PCBs are installed. An EM(Electromagnetic) type digitizer(40) is inserted into the fixing device for detecting designated coordinates. A plurality of fixing plates(50) are fixed at the top case by one ends, and are bent in a direction parallel to the support main for fixing the plurality of PCBs.
