PURPOSE: A portable MP3 changer is provided to analyze an inputted voice signal through a voice recognition technique, and to compare the analyzed voice signal with reference sound data to perceive whether the voice signal is identical with the reference sound data, then to assign a score, thereby supplying language studying, radio receiving, and study promoting functions at low cost. CONSTITUTION: An MCU(Microprocessor Control Unit)(110) executes an MP3 player module when an MP3 player function is selected by a user, reads an MP3 file recorded in an SMC(Smart Media Card)(102) to decode the file, and reproduces the decoded file. A broadcasting receiver(120) selects a broadcasting channel according to a tuning control signal of the MCU(110) to receive a wireless signal when a radio function switch is on, demodulates the wireless signal to reproduce an audio signal, and transmits the audio signal to an audio processor(130). The audio processor(130) amplifies the audio signal, and transmits the amplified signal to a built-in speaker(186) or an earphone of a headset(104). An MP3 decoder(140) restores data compressed into an MP3 file to original data. An SMC interface(160) enables the MCU(110) to store data in the SMC(102) or to read the data. A flash memory(162) stores the software which will be preformed in the MCU(110), and reads/writes new data.
