PURPOSE: A preprocessing method and a device of fabric are characterized by using an ink-jet device, improving a preprocessing solution composition by a digital signal and changing composition of the solution in accordance with kinds and structures of fibers. An ink-jet printing method and a device containing the same are provided. CONSTITUTION: A preprocessing method of fabric is characterized by coating the fabric with a preprocessing solution from a head of an ink-jet device. A preprocessing device thereof comprises: a fabric supplying roller(26); a preprocessing head(24) which is capable of reciprocating or moving to one way on the fabric, injecting the preprocessing solution to the fabric; a preprocessing solution storage(23) supplying the preprocessing solution; and a controlling part(22) controlling the fabric supplying roller(26), the head(24) and the storage(23). An ink-jet printing method is as follows: supplying the fabric from the fabric supplying roller(26); coating the fabric with the preprocessing solution; drying the coated preprocessing solution; and then printing a pattern on the fabric with an ink-jet printer. An ink-jet printing method comprises: the preprocessing head(24); a dryer drying the fabric coated with the preprocessing solution; a printing head printing the pattern on the dried fabric; and an ink storage supplying ink to the printing head.
