CONSTITUTION: The composition for prevention and treatment of Arthritis is characterized by containing a cathepsin B inhibitor of the formula(I) as an active ingredient. In the formula(I), R1 represents a guanidino or amino group. It is formulated into a pharmaceutically acceptable formulation.
