1-BETA METHYLCARBAPENEM DERIVATIVE HAVING PYRROLIDINE WITH AMINOETHYLCARBAMOYL DERIVATIVES MOIETY AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: 1-Beta methylcarbapenem derivatives having pyrrolidine with the moiety of aminoethylcarbamoyl derivatives and a preparation method thereof are provided.The 1-Beta methylcarbapenem derivatives have improved antimicrobial activity by substituting pyrrolidine thiol derivatives having the moiety aminoethylcarbamoyl derivatives. CONSTITUTION: The 1-beta methylcarbapenem derivatives having pyrrolidine with the moiety of aminoethylcarbamoyl derivatives are represented by the formula(1), wherein R is selected from amino and amine ring containing substituent, lower alkylamine containing substituent, ring type amine having carbon number of 4 or more, lower alkylsulfamoyl and guanidine derivatives. Their preparation method comprises the steps of: (a) reacting a compound of the formula(9) with thiol derivative of the formula(2) in solvent in the presence of base to prepare protected carbapenem derivative of the formula(10); and (b) deprotecting the protected carbapenem derivative of the formula(10) to prepare 1-beta methylcarbapenem of the formula(11).
