摘要 PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing high silicon cast iron electrode plate is provided to simplify manufacturing process and obtain products of high quality when manufacturing the high silicon cast iron electrode plate used in a pickling line of stainless steel cold rolling plant. CONSTITUTION: In a method for casting a high silicon cast iron electrode plate(1) by a mold(2) which is formed of molding sand, and on which molding cavity is formed, the method for manufacturing the high silicon cast iron electrode plate comprises a step of constructing the mold by installing a destroyable member(3) at the outer side of the molding sand forming the molding cavity of the mold, wherein the destroyable member is destroyable by heat of molten iron, and a space formed by destruction of the destroyable member allows foundry to be solidified and contracted freely; a step of injecting molten high silicon cast iron into the molding cavity of the mold; a step of separating from the foundry risers(4), injection port(6), runner(7) and gates(8) functioning as objects resisting against contraction of the foundry right after solidification of the foundry; and a step of demolding the cooled foundry after slowly cooling the foundry to an ordinary temperature in the mold.
