PURPOSE: A vacuum pump for a power generator having a safety valve for preventing a back current is provided to secure the stability of a check valve by installing a disc type check valve inside a check valve. CONSTITUTION: A vacuum pump is formed of a pump housing plate(94) fixed at a rear bracket, a pump housing(91) assembled with the outside of the pump housing plate, a vane(92) installed at an end of a shaft, and a check valve(93) installed at the pump housing. The check valve is installed at a bore of a valve body(931) having a bolt head. The check valve has a disc type check valve formed of a fixed disc having a plurality of through holes, a soft valve disc opening and shutting the through holes of the fixed disc, and a rivet joining the fixed disc with the soft valve disc through the center.
