PURPOSE: A differential amplifier having a wide allowable range is provided to reduce power consumption of an LSI including plural differential amplifiers by reducing power consumption of the differential amplifier. CONSTITUTION: A differential amplifier circuit includes first and second differential amplifier parts. The first differential amplifier part includes a first differential pair of PMOS transistors(11-12) which receives first and second input voltages, respectively. The second differential amplifier part includes a second differential pair of NMOS transistors(21-22) which receive the first and second input voltages, respectively. The second differential amplifier part further includes a bias circuit and an output circuit. The bias circuit activates one of the first and second differential amplifier parts in response to a control signal. The output circuit outputs an output signal from an output of the activated differential amplifier part.
