STRUCTURE FOR SUPPORTING DAMPER OF DRUM WASHING MACHINE

PURPOSE: Structure for supporting a damper in a drum washing machine is provided to prevent vibration from a tub from being transmitted to a cabinet by buffering vibration and fixing a damper assembly to a base with a buffer fixing unit, and to improve the reliability by reducing noise from vibration. CONSTITUTION: A damper assembly(60) comprises a cylinder(62) fastened to a cylinder fixing end(61a) integrally formed in the lower part of a tub(56); a piston(64) fitted to the end of the cylinder and fastened to a fixing hole(52h) formed in the lower part of a base(52d); a damping pad(66) attached to the outer periphery of the piston to move and rub the piston on the inside of the cylinder; and a buffer fixing unit(68) installed between the piston and the base to prevent vibration from being transmitted to the cabinet by absorbing vibration of the piston and to fasten the piston to the cabinet.
