PURPOSE: A control knob switch is provided to increase the use area of the front space of a dash board by reducing the axial length of a rotary switch and concentrating a rotary knob and a push button on a knob shaft. CONSTITUTION: A control knob switch comprises a housing(100); a printed circuit board attached to the housing, and which has a copper rail having different diameters for allowing for a selective control of resistance value, and a light emitting member arranged at the center of the printed circuit board; a ring type support member fixed on the printed circuit board; a knob member having a contactor for rotating and contacting the upper surface of the copper rail, a light emitting member for receiving power from the contactor, and an indicator arranged to correspond to the light emitting member; and a front cover(400) having an opening for accommodating the knob member, and an indicator for indicating functions of the knob member. The knob member rotates in the opening of the front cover so as to indicate functions of the switch.
