LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY HAVING ALIGNMENT MARKS FOR POLARIZING PLATE

PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display having alignment marks for a polarizing plate is provided to accurately attach a polarizing plate by judging an alignment state of the attached polarizing plate, thereby improving performance of a liquid crystal display. CONSTITUTION: A first substrate(210) has switching elements. A second substrate is opposite to the first substrate and includes a black matrix formed to cover the edge. A polarizing plate is formed on an upper surface or lower surface of a liquid crystal panel. Alignment marks(300) are formed at a non-valid display area(C) of the first or second substrate adjacent to a polarizing plate(230).
