DEFLECTION YOKE WITH FERRITE CORE HAVING SQUARE SHAPE APERTURE

PURPOSE: A deflection yoke is provided to improve sensitivity of the deflection yoke and reduce power consumption by adapting a ferrite core having a square shape aperture to a saddle-troidal deflection yoke. CONSTITUTION: A deflection yoke comprises a vertical deflection coil(33) for deflecting vertically electron beams radiated from an electron gun; a horizontal deflection coil for deflecting horizontally the electron beams radiated from the electron gun; a coil separator for dividing accurately the location of the vertical and the horizontal deflection coil and insulating electrically the coils; and a ferrite core(30) for enhancing the magnetic field through the vertical deflection coil. The ferrite core includes at least one aperture having square shape and is divided into a plurality of ferrite core pieces.
