EQUALIZER FOR HOMEPNA 2.0 SYSTEM, IN WHICH QR-RTS ALGORITHM IS USED

PURPOSE: An equalizer for homePNA(home Phoneline Networking Alliance) 2.0 system is provided to improve the performance by forming an extended QR-RLS algorithm of a systolic array structure. CONSTITUTION: A switch(41) is used for determining one of a DA(Data Aided) mode and a DD(Decision Directed) mode. An equalizer input unit(45) inputs a signal passing a homePNA 2.0 channel and a preamble signal in the DA mode or a determined symbol in the DD mode into each cell of a systolic array structure part(46). The systolic array structure part is used for updating a weight vector by passing the input values to all cells according to a pipeline method. An equalizer filtering unit(47) outputs the determined symbol by performing a matrix operation of the weight vector and the signal passing the homePNA 2.0 channel, the preamble signal or the determined symbol.
