摘要 PURPOSE: An apparatus is provided to achieve improved accuracy of estimation by estimating a rotor time constant in a real time basis through the use of arbitrary magnetization current of an induction motor. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises a first coordinate converting unit(3) for converting a synchronous magnetic flux voltage command value and torque voltage command value into a magnetic flux voltage command value and torque voltage command value on a static coordinate system; a three-phase/two-phase converting unit(7) for converting the three-phase current of an induction motor into two-phase current on a static coordinate system; and a rotor time constant estimating unit(30) for taking, as an input, outputs from the first coordinate converting unit and the three-phase/two-phase converting unit, and parameters of the induction motor, obtaining a reference magnetization current and a variable magnetization current through computation, and matching the variable magnetization current to the reference magnetization current.
