PURPOSE: A method for improving performance of a PWM signal output device is provided to improve accuracy and performance of an analog signal using a PWM signal by using a software method instead of a hardware method. CONSTITUTION: An integer of low resolution is checked and a PWM signal is outputted according to the integer of the low resolution if a desired analog output PWM command value is inputted(S52). At this time, the PWM is obtained by dividing a basic frequency by an arbitrary value. An intermediate value of an integer of high resolution is checked and a half value of the basic frequency is outputted if the integer of the low resolution is not checked(S54). The basic frequency is outputted if the integer does not correspond to the intermediate value(S55).
