The machine for driving training stakes into the soil of a hop field takes each stake from a bale of more than forty kilograms in weight with the drive engaging directly on the stake. The bale has no plastic wrapping. The machine has a drive shaft (1) with a cylinder (2) and a flat needle (6) with a point (3) in which the stake point is placed. A spring (S) returns the drive shaft to its initial position.
