APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SUPPLYING PAPER FOR COPIER CAPABLE OF REDUCING TIME WHEN COPYING

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for supplying paper for a copier are provided to mount a sensor to a position separated from outside of a roller, thereby reducing time when copying. CONSTITUTION: Upper and lower housings(52,54) for guiding paper(40) toward a drum are separately mounted with a separated state with each other. A pair of the first and second rollers(56,58) are mounted to both sides of the upper and lower housings. An opening/closing member(60) is mounted to an isolated portion of inside of the second roller and connected to a solenoid(66) by the medium of a rod(64). A sensor(70) for sensing transfer and jam of the paper is mounted to an isolated portion of outside of the first roller and connected to the solenoid.
