ACCELERATOR ERROR CORRECTION DEVICE INCLUDING A POTENTIOMETER, A CONTROL UNIT, A WARNING UNIT, AND A DRIVING UNIT

PURPOSE: An accelerator error correction device is provided to prevent an impossible situation of travel of a vehicle and to warn of the impossible situation, by correcting the operating state of an accelerator with a constant value maintaining creep travel when a potentiometer is broken down. CONSTITUTION: An accelerator error correction device includes a potentiometer(20) outputting a signal for displacement of an accelerator(10) operated by a driver as voltage; a control unit(30) controlling the output torque and speed of a vehicle according to the signal of the potentiometer; a warning unit(50) displaying a fault state of the potentiometer; and an actuator(40) driving the vehicle according to the signal of the control unit. The control unit drives the vehicle at creep travel speed by correcting a constant value maintaining creep travel with the signal of the accelerator if a fault of the potentiometer is detected and by outputting the signal to the driving unit.
