[Class 81 (i)] [Also in Group XI] A vaporizing-apparatus comprises a source of vapour supply communicating with a distributer consisting of a casing, having a heater mounted at the bottom, a fan at the top, a discharge outlet near the fan and a baffle with a central aperture below and adjacent to the fan. A casing 9, mounted on a base 8, is provided with a heating lamp 14, and a fan 20 driven by a motor 18 to withdraw vapour from a generator 30 or other source and discharge it through an outlet 21 and nozzle 23, a centrally apertured baffle 24 being mounted below the fan. The generator 30 has a squared socket 34 to receive a medicated candle 35, a screen 36 being provided to trap embers from the candle. Connections from the casing 9 to this generator and to other sources of vapour are provided at 26, 27. In a modification, vapour is provided by a generator 37, Fig. 5, having therein a vessel 43 to contain a material for vaporization by a heating coil 47. |
