PURPOSE: Provided is a spreading type disposable diaper having both waist bands to be attached and fixed at belly and/or back sides of a user to accomplish superior fixing ability at laid and/or standing posture and improved leak-resistance and absorbency. CONSTITUTION: The disposable diaper(1) comprises liquid-penetration surface sheet(2), non liquid-penetration back sheet(3) and liquid-absorption material(4) between the sheets(2,3). The diaper(1) is composed of backing portion(A), belly portion(B), crotch portion(C) and two waist band parts extending from both peripheral sides of the backing portion(A). Area around the liquid-absorption material(4) below the crotch portion(C) has a portion with bending strength of 25cN/50mm or less. Along length of the diaper, formed are three-dimensional creases with 100% or more of elongation rate. |
