PURPOSE: An automatic portable bill validator is provided to reduce the total size of the bill validator by using a reduction gear instead of a belt and a pulley. CONSTITUTION: A bill sensor(11b) is used for detecting and inserting a setting state of a bill. A detection unit senses print information of the bill and outputs a sensing signal to a controller. The controller is used for operating a transfer unit according to the sensing signal, comparing the sensing signal with the stored decision data, and transmitting a decision signal to an output unit. The transfer unit(45) includes a stepping motor, a reduction gear unit, and a conveyer having a timing belt. The bill is transferred by using the transfer unit, an elastic press unit, and a friction unit including a bill roller. An output unit displays a counterfeit state of the bill according to the decision signal. A power connector is used for supplying DC current to each component. A case includes a power input hole and one or more bill holes.
