PURPOSE: A display of a kimchi storehouse capable of changing the background illumination of the display due to the operation state is provided. Therefore, the user can discriminate the operation state or the presence of abnormality of the kimchi storehouse easily from a remote distance by setting the background illumination of the display in different colors due to the operation state. CONSTITUTION: The display(5) of a kimchi storehouse is characterized in that background illumination is lightened in different colors on storage modes or aging modes. The background illumination of the display is lightened in blue color on the storage modes and red color on the aging modes respectively. The display is mounted on the front face of the body(1) of the kimchi storehouse containing two storage chambers(3), a cooling room(4) containing a cooling apparatus at the lower part of the storage chambers and two doors(2) for covering the storage chambers.
