The composition, designed to remove surface contamination by radioactive particles, consists of at least 1-25 wt.% of a first non-ionic surfactant with a hydrophilic/lipophile balance (HLB) of 14-16, measured at ambient temperature in an aqueous medium; 1-20 wt.% of a second non-ionic surfactant with a hydrophilic/lipophile balance (HLB) of 12-14; and water.
