PURPOSE: A microwave oven used as a coffee maker is provided to use the microwave oven conveniently by inputting coffee easily, and to clean parts easily by removing a filter basket from a water container. CONSTITUTION: A microwave oven comprises a body having a cavity in which food is cooked and a cover(110) turned and installed in the front corner; an electric component chamber containing electric components in the rear part of the body; a water container(410) formed in the body and exposed in front of the body to store edible water; a filter basket(420) mounted to the cover of the body; a hot water supply pipe(430) supplying hot water from the water container on the top of the filter basket; a heater(440) heating edible water in the hot water supply pipe; and a coffeepot(450) placed in the lower part of the filter basket to store coffee extract through the filter basket.
