PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for suppressing nonspecific adsorption of impurities in a test material, in a method for detecting or measuring the material interacting with a physiologically active substance by using a biosensor. SOLUTION: In this method for detecting or measuring the material interacting with the physiologically active substance bonded onto the surface of the biosensor comprising a substrate coated with a hydrophobic polymer compound, detection or measurement is performed in the presence of a surfactant. The nonspecific adsorption of the impurities in the test material can be suppressed by this method, in the method for detecting or measuring the material interacting with the physiologically active substance by using the biosensor.
