PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turnable pick and place device for smoothly rotating a holding part for holding a workpiece. SOLUTION: When reciprocating between a first position P1 and a second position P2, a guide object member 21 rises by the rise of a central shaft 2, and turns by being guided by a guide means 11. The guide object member 21 passes through the upper dead center Dp of a passage by force by turning inertia of an arm 26 and the holding part 27. The central shaft 2 turns while lowering after passing through the upper dead center Dp, and is operated without applying driving force being torque to the central shaft 2 only by vertically driving the central shaft 2.
