PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a domed camera which can be transported without requiring shock absorbing materials, since dust is not generated much even if a transparent domed cover and a cover for a photographic system touch, when transported. SOLUTION: This domed camera has protrusions 6a at parts of a photographing means facing a case. The camera is so formed that when the protrusions touch the facing parts at the portion other than the touching parts the camera has a gap between the transparent domed cover 7 and the shielding cover 6. Accordingly, dust to be generated when the shielding cover 6 and the cover 7 touch each other during the transportation, become less. Consequently, though conventional domed camera equipment has a problem that it requires to be disassembled and re-assembled when packed and installed, and the amount of work for equipment transportation increases, since shock absorbing materials are used and fitted between a transparent domed cover 7 and the camera 5, a shielding cover 6, and a driving gear 4, as a countermeasure to vibrations generated when transported, to prevent especially the driving gear 4 and the shielding cover 6 from vibrating, the cover 7 and the shielding cover 6 from touching, the paint or the like of surface finishing of the shielding cover 6 from peeling off and exerting a bad influence on photographing.
