PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic camera wherein a monitor is movably supported to a camera main body and various operations can easily be carried out. SOLUTION: All operation entry members for entries and selection instructions applied to the electronic camera through the operations of a photographer are laid out to the right of the camera in the horizontal direction. More concretely, all the operation members are located onto only an upper side and rear side of the camera to the right-handed side more than a left direction limit position of a range operable by the thumb and the index finger of the right hand.
