PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal whereby a user can easily view a display section of a small-sized case even during a speech and never fails to hear a conversation talked by a speech opposite party. SOLUTION: The mobile terminal 20 is provided with: the small-sized case 8 on one side 22 at which the operation key 6d is provided and on the other opposite side 24 at which the display section 4b is provided; and a main body 10 including a speaker 12. The other side 24 of the small-sized case 8 can be pressed into contact with the main body 10 by directing the one side 22 in nearly the same direction of that of the side of the main body 10 on which the speaker 12 is disposed, and the small-sized case 8 is hinged to the main body 10 so that the other side 24 is freely turnably rotated in a direction apart from the main body 10 in this state.
