PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a waveguide bandpass filter capable of improving spurious characteristics with a simple structure without costing a lot of money to a means for performing the replacement of a transmission source, improvement, or the like. SOLUTION: Waveguide resonators 1a, 1b of a TE<SB>10N</SB>mode that is the basic mode of a squire waveguide are provided in a plurality of stages in a direction, where an electric field component orthogonally crosses the main propagation direction of a TE<SB>10</SB>mode that is the basic mode of the square waveguide by successive connection on the tube wall surface. A folded section 5 is provided at one portion of the connected waveguide type resonators 1a, 1b. I/O connection holes 3a, 3b at one end, and the other of the connected waveguide resonators 1a, 1b are divided by a tube wall 6 of the waveguide type resonators 1a, 1b for preventing direct connection.
