PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To register the extension number of an extension terminal stored in the other node to a DSS key of the extension terminal. SOLUTION: The telephone exchange device is provided with a storage part for storing setting information including the extension number registered to the DSS key of the extension terminal to be connected to the extension of its own node, and at the same time, for storing identification information of the other node which is required to inform state information stored in its own node corresponding to the extension, and a setting information receiving part for receiving the setting information including the extension number to be registered to the DSS key of the extension terminal. The node stores the extension number included in the setting information, and is analyzed. When the extension number included in the setting information is judged to be that of the other node, the device informs the other node that the DSS key related to the extension number is registered, and it urges to register to the storage part of the telephone exchange device of the other node.
