PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform voltage superimposition multiplexing of a small-scale ECU at a low cost, wherein the quantity of information to be communicated is small. SOLUTION: A voltage superimposition multiplex interface part 121 for modulating/demodulating a serial signal and a communication control part 122 for converting the serial signal into a parallel signal are provided in a communication interface part 12 of the ECU, and a CPU 11 of the ECU with a little information quantity and the communication control part 122 are parallel connected. Thus, a control signal serially transmitted on a power line 100 is demodulated by the voltage superimposition multiplex interface part 121, the demodulated serial signal is converted into the parallel signal in the communication control part 122, and the parallel signal is inputted from an input port P into the CPU 11. Therefore, as the CPU 11, an inexpensive CPU wherein a communication controller is not incorporated, can be used and the ECU can be made inexpensive.
