PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an operating sound caused by moving a lens from being recognized as an uncomfortable noise when reproducing a moving image in a camera capable of picking up the moving image. SOLUTION: In a camera (100) including an image pickup part (10) for picking up the moving image of a field, a sound collecting part (20) for collecting sounds when picking up the moving image and a recording part (40) for recording moving image data picked up by the image pickup part and sound data collected by the sound collecting part, when an operating signal relating to the moving action of a lens (11) based on zooming or the like is detected by an operating signal detecting means, an effective sound based on sound information stored in a sound information storage part (82) is outputted from an effective sound output part (30) by an effective sound output control means, and the sound collecting part collects the effective sound together with the sounds when picking up the moving image of the field.
